Senior Public Health Expert and Acting Head of Telemedicine and Health Technology at the Swiss Center for International Health. Martin has 25 years of international experience in healthcare development and capacity building in various Eastern European countries. He has been involved in healthcare projects in Ukraine since 1999, in particular, he was the leader of a large-scale maternal and child health project between 2001 and 2016.

Tetiana Chernysh

Interests: corruption in health care, patient payments, health governance, multisectoral understanding of health and education, capacity building.

PhD, has experience in research projects as well as in educational product development projects and management experience in education and educational projects. Since 2004 he has been working at the School of Health of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Tatiana is also a co-founder and member of the organizing committee of the Summer School "Transforming Health Systems: Eastern Europe" and the Winter School "Public Health in Ukraine". She is also a co-developer of an online course for the Coursera health management platform.

Anastasiia Pylypak

Communications expert. Head of Communications at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy from 2022 to 2025. Has experience in PR, crisis communications, and communication strategy development. From 2019 to 2022, she worked at the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, in 2021–2022 as head of the public relations and international cooperation department, since 2014 volunteers for the military.

Snizhana Dariievska

Interests: social psychology, research on health and education inequalities, writing popular science texts about society.

Snizhana is a graduate of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Sociology and Healthcare Management programmes. As part of the project, she is working on medical education. She has experience in conducting sociological research, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing scientific publications. She is a co-developer of the online courses ‘Simulation Approaches in Medical Education: International Experience’ and ‘Mentoring in Healthcare: Being a Professional’.

Olha Bershadska

Developer and trainer of training programmes for teachers, trainers, mentors and facilitators in Ukraine and Germany. Olha is the author and co-author of educational programmes and online courses for UNICEF, the Ministry of Education and Science and others. For 20 years, she taught courses on public speaking and cross-cultural communication at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She helps organisations change their corporate culture by facilitating challenging dialogues.

Inna Chukhno

Mladena Kachurets

Bio: A graduate of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Advisor to the Acting Minister of Health Care of Ukraine Ulana Suprun (2016-2018), Head of the Medical Sector of the Office of Effective Regulation, Deputy Minister of Health Care (2019), Director of the Department of Staff Development and Training of the Dobrobut Medical Network, founder of the Dobrobut Academy educational project (2020-2024), consultant of the Ukrainian-Swiss Project «Medical Education Development» since 2024.

In the Project Mladena is responsible for conducting the legal and policy research, communicating with the MoH and other Government institutions, development of the policy documents, coordinating the internship initiatives, contributing to the establishment of the new medical school.

Yuliia Martynenko

Interests: helping people to understand communications better and use them more effectively, NGO communications, communication support for policies and reforms, advocacy, building a community of communicators.

In the team, Yuliia is responsible for external communication, production of the Medical Education Newsletter and other communication products of the project. Yuliia has more than 10 years of experience working with information: she started as an economic journalist, writing on medical and pharmaceutical topics. In 2018, she joined the healthcare reform team. In 2019, Yuliia moved to the public sector. She worked on a number of advocacy campaigns, was involved in information support for the NHSU, and began advising young NGOs on communication issues.
