Martin has 25 years of international experience in healthcare development and capacity building in various Eastern European countries. He has been involved in healthcare projects in Ukraine since 1999, in particular, he was the leader of a large-scale maternal and child health project between 2001 and 2016.

Tatiana is also a co-founder and member of the organizing committee of the Summer School "Transforming Health Systems: Eastern Europe" and the Winter School "Public Health in Ukraine". She is also a co-developer of an online course for the Coursera health management platform.

    Bio: A graduate of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Advisor to the Acting Minister of Health Care of Ukraine Ulana Suprun (2016-2018), Head of the Medical Sector of the Office of Effective Regulation, Deputy Minister of Health Care (2019), Director of the Department of Staff Development and Training of the Dobrobut Medical Network, founder of the Dobrobut Academy educational project (2020-2024), consultant of the Ukrainian-Swiss Project «Medical Education Development» since 2024.

    In the Project Mladena is responsible for conducting the legal and policy research, communicating with the MoH and other Government institutions, development of the policy documents, coordinating the internship initiatives, contributing to the establishment of the new medical school.

    Yuliia Martynenko

    Interests: helping people to understand communications better and use them more effectively, NGO communications, communication support for policies and reforms, advocacy, building a community of communicators.

    In the team, Yuliia is responsible for external communication, production of the Medical Education Newsletter and other communication products of the project. Yuliia has more than 10 years of experience working with information: she started as an economic journalist, writing on medical and pharmaceutical topics. In 2018, she joined the healthcare reform team. In 2019, Yuliia moved to the public sector. She worked on a number of advocacy campaigns, was involved in information support for the NHSU, and began advising young NGOs on communication issues.
