    According to a study by the Council of Europe, every fifth Ukrainian child is a victim of sexual violence, every third is a victim of physical violence, and every second is a victim of psychological violence. 600,000 children live in families with difficult living conditions, which increases the risk of violence. Violence against children affects brain function, mental health, leads to non-infectious, infectious, chronic diseases, changes other areas of a child`s life. Often a doctor is the only specialist who sees a child and can detect violence against him

    The International Center for Development and Leadership (@ ICRL Ukraine) has developed an online course "The Role of the Doctor in Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Violence Against Children", which is important for family physicians, pediatricians, nurses / siblings and professionals. other specialties - surgeons, ambulance workers, traumatologists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, gynecologists in Ukraine.
