- Panel discussion “Family doctor and health care reform: steps forward”. We will talk together with the speakers:
- Yevhen Meshko, the Director of the St. Martin’s Hospital (Mukachevo), Family Doctor, Member of the NGO “Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine” and the NGO “Medical Leaders”;
- Ihor Zastavnyi, Candidate of MS, Family Doctor, National Trainer of MhGAP, Board Member of the NGO “Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine”;
- Oksana Lutska, the Director of CNE “Velykohaivska AGPFM”, Family Doctor, Board Member of the NGO “Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine”
Presentation of “Non-scary book” and master-class on communication “Difficult talk with a patient” from Anastasiia Leukhina. Applying her 20-years experience of teaching in the best Ukrainian business schools, Anastasiia trains medical educators to facilitate, to cooperate in peer groups and also develops together with them the course on humanity and empathy for medical professionals.
Just a reminder that Anastasiya is an author of “Non-scary book”. This book is about how people at the end of their lives can handle challenges under the lack of palliative care infrastructure. Also Anastasiia is a co-founder of campaign “#Let in ICU” («Пустіть в реанімацію»), consultant in the Ukrainian-Swiss Project “Medical Education Development”, Head of the NGO “Horizontals”, lecturer of the Kyiv School of Economics” and columnist in such editions as Novoe vremia and Ukrainska Pravda.
So in the first day of the School all participants will have an opportunity to listen to an interesting panel discussion and presentation, to get to know each other, discuss together the best practices of gatekeeping during pandemics, and also to practice during the master-class and to work in groups.
