Simulation training for family doctors, nurses, interns, and students
We have an interesting proposal for you to spend the afternoon in Lviv studying.
Firstly, on May 21 at 10:00 medical simulation center will be opening at the Andrei Krupinsky Lviv Medical Academy, built by the joint efforts of the HEI, local Lviv authorities, and the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Development of Medical Education.”
The new clinical skills’ laboratory already includes specially equipped halls to conduct training of primary care medical staff. In short, the presence of such a center is necessary for the practice of family doctors, therapists, pediatricians, and nurses who plan to work in family medicine.
And secondly, after a tour across the center, we invite family doctors and nurses to join the development of practical skills in two exciting trainings:
- Otoscopy technique. The most common findings during otoscopy (duration is 30 minutes)
- Vaccine administration technique (duration is 30 min)
Trainers are Ihor Zastavny and Anastasiya Khodan, family doctors of the VULYK family medicine outpatient clinic.
You can register by the following link until May 19 —> https://bit.ly/3uQXorA/. Unfortunately, the project does not cover transportation and accommodation expenditures for participants. Therefore, we will be happy to welcome representatives from Lviv and Lviv region. Since the idea of spending the second half of Friday in Lviv seems quite inspired to us, we hope that other regions will be able to join.
