Results for 2021 were presented in the final marathon of medical education
This year has been actually intensive. Our sweetheart marathon has revealed itself as an effective and innovative format. During November-December, we reflected on the life of medical educators, doctors, nurses, and medical students in our country and the world. We have also worked in many areas as part of our institution’s development strategy to improve the educational environment. Today, we do a lot for graduates who should have the appropriate competencies, achieve goals, and remain motivated to work in the specialty. In the final issue of the Medical Education Marathon 2021, we have prepared for you four rich and meaningful panel discussions together with medical professionals, educators, and representatives of international projects:
- we reflected on the highlights of the life of higher medical educational institutions (HEIs) and rejoiced in each other’s success,
- talked about what modern continuing professional development should be like, how it is transforming according to new challenges, needs of patients, and also taking into account the emergence of modern technologies for clinical skills,
- we got acquainted with other projects in health care,
- representatives of the Ukrainian Health Center (UHC) shared an unforgettable experience in creating practical courses.
We are glad that by implementing various activities, we maintain a single focus on the continuous growth of the quality of medical education.
Wait for the new issues of the marathon of medical education from January 2022! Over the coming year, we will also share valuable and helpful content with you. Therefore, discussions in the format of panel discussions, interviews, and presentations will continue to contribute to the development of society for a better health care system! From January 2022, the marathon will be held every two weeks. We are already preparing a presentation of the manual “Humanity and empathy in health care” for educators of medical HEIs, a session on human resources for health care, and many other meaningful discussions!
