Of course, we can’t only leave you with no Christmas and New Year’s gifts! So we are announcing a new online course for medical educators, “Communication with students during the war.”
We admire how educators overcome challenges. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, they mastered all possible online tools: they prepared educational materials for distance learning, knowledge assessment, and feedback collection and learned how to conduct training remotely in a simulation center.
This experience has come in handy since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and life in the new reality: conducting Zoom classes from a bomb shelter, a point of invincibility when there is no light or internet connection. So we want to help educators find a balance and effectively ensure the quality of education through a new course we are creating jointly with the NGO “Higher.”
The course structure includes three lectures and three practical classes in Zoom. All lectures will be broadcast live on our YouTube and Facebook channels. Classes for selected participants will be held in Zoom weekly from January 24 to February 10, 2023. To attend the classes, please register at this link: https://forms.office.com/e/udywLKruuL.
Applications will be accepted until January 8. The selection results will be announced by a return letter on January 12.
The first open and introductory lecture, “Factors changing the educational landscape,” will be live tomorrow, December 28, at 12:00 pm.
Course trainers:
- Natalya Starynska is a coach in teaching skills, an accreditation expert, and a trainer of experts at the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, head of the NGO “Higher,” a certified project manager and project management trainer at Project Management Professional, and a facilitator.
- Olga Bershadska is an educational coach, lecturer at NaUKMA, UNICEF educational consultant, methodologist of educational programs and training courses, an expert in adult education, cross-cultural communications, and public broadcasting, and facilitator in the educational, public, and business sectors.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the course!
