Dear friends, this is not the time we would like to inform you about the release of our new project. But we have to move on and continue to spread essential and valuable Ukrainian narratives.
A few months ago, we asked you to vote for the best format for receiving information: podcast or video → https://bit.ly/3EyvaJE. The podcast won by a wide margin, so we have been working on creating a new product all this time.
Meet our first podcast, which has a provocative name, “Tangible med education”! In audio format, the host Mychailo Wynnyckyj, a sociologist, trainer, and lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, talks with guests about education, in other words, about the world interesting to doctors and not only. The podcast episodes feature interlocutors from across the globe, with whom we will try to talk in a tangible and, therefore, accessible, practical, and helpful way.
We will have both Ukrainian and English episodes. So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to improve your English — here it is!
Cramming of facts for KROK examination, external independent evaluation, IFOM, and testing as a quality measure. Medical gowns and scrub caps as symbols of the profession. Corruption in health care and higher medical education institutions, practical training, and the humanitarian component of higher education. What is needed for the quality formation of a humane doctor? Subscribe to our podcast on all available platforms and find out the answer first → https://li.sten.to/s6xcf0ac.
The first episode will be released tomorrow, and now listen to the trailer. Have you already recognized the voices of our guests? Here’s a quick hint: we already have great episodes with a prominent British neurosurgeon, a British palliative care doctor, and a well-known Ukrainian anesthesiologist.
Also, at the end of each episode, you will find interesting short columns from our colleagues:
- The section about books “What have you read there?!” or “Why do I need those books, I read the decrees!” is led by Matviy Khrenov, co-founder of the Ukrainian Healthcare Center (UHC).
- The section “MZS,” aka evidence-based medicine, is hosted by Dmytro Huliaiev, head of publishing, research, and education projects, at the NGO “Ukrainian Anti-Stroke Association.
The podcast “Tangible med education” was created in cooperation with The Ukrainians podcast studio.
