Strategic Planning with the Dobrobut Academy Team

On 17–18 December 2024, the Dobrobut Academy team took part in a training session titled “Strategic Development in Medical Education Institutions”, held in Zhytomyr. The event focused on strengthening institutional capacity, identifying strategic priorities, engaging target audiences, and building a competitive edge.

Over two days, participants worked under the guidance of Matvii Khrenov — co-founder of the Ukrainian Healthcare Centre (UHC) and former advisor to the Minister of Health (2018–2020). Together, they explored a range of key topics, including:

• the principles and tools of strategic planning;
• the structure and dynamics of the medical education market, including its main service segments;
• risk management, institutional mission and vision, goal setting, organizational culture, and decision-making processes.

Participants also had the chance to apply what they learned through a case study analysis of a higher education institution.
