Winter Medical School at NaUKMA: A First Step into the World of Modern Medicine

The Winter Medical School is one of the directions of the NaUKMA Winter School, designed to immerse 10th–11th grade students—those considering medicine as a future profession and wishing to understand it from the inside—into the atmosphere of student life.

The School will run for three days, from 8 to 10 January 2026. For two days, participants will study on the NaUKMA campus, engaging in lectures, practical sessions, and meeting the student community.

Participants can expect:

• classes and discussions with faculty members and alumni of the Academy;
• motivational meetings;
• strategic games, workshops, and live interaction.

One separate day will be dedicated to a tour and practical intensive at the Dobrobut Medical and Diagnostic Center, where participants will observe modern medicine in action: diagnostic equipment, the operating unit, the emergency department, as well as the precision and speed of team communication in real time.

Applications will be reviewed until 23 December. Interviews may be conducted if necessary. The participation fee is 1950 UAH.
