Velvet Azov School of Family Medicine 2025

On October 3–5, 2025, the Velvet Azov School of Family Medicine will take place.

The interactive training format, using modern methods and international medical care algorithms, will help participants gained new knowledge, practice key skills, receive answers to their questions, and initiate discussions.

The Azov School program includes numerous engaging trainings, workshops, and discussions covering relevant topics of modern medicine. In particular, practical sessions on medical emergencies and simulations for responding to critical cases, advice from medical law experts on protecting the rights of healthcare workers in the workplace, as well as the latest updates on vaccination and screenings to improve service quality.

This year, applications to the Azov School were open both to new applicants and to those who had already participated in previous trainings.

The goal of the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Medical Education Development” is to create a platform for experience exchange and to support those who have already become part of the Azov School alumni.

The Organizing Committee has defined the following participation criteria this year:

• Current practical activity in primary health care in Ukraine (doctors, nurses, medical assistants);
• Employment in a healthcare facility of any ownership form that provides primary healthcare services and is registered in the eHealth system (for nurses and medical assistants — working with a primary health care physician registered in eHealth);
• Clear motivation to participate;
• Agreement to pay an organizational fee of 1500 UAH after passing the selection;
• Additional criteria: membership in AFMU or UAPS, facilitation of peer groups, medical blogging, volunteer activities, work in mobile teams, veterans and medical workers serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the time of application.
