We invite students from Ukrainian higher education institutions to participate in the “Leadership in Medical Education” intensive course — a training program focused not only on acquiring knowledge but also on developing the ability to think more broadly, take responsibility, and influence the formation of a healthy society.

Dates: 14–16 April 2025
Location: Kyiv

Who can participate?

Students of the 4th–6th year studying the following specializations:

  • Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Dentistry
  • Public Health
  • Healthcare Management
  • Master’s in Nursing
  • Master’s in Physical Rehabilitation

How to participate?

  • Fill out the application form via the link. Registration is open until 31 March 2025.
  • We will select 20 most motivated students through a competitive process.
  • The results of the selection will be announced on 4 April.

Participation in the program is free of charge. The organizers will cover the costs for training, partial travel, accommodation, and meals for participants who pass the selection process.

What to expect?

  • Lectures from experts on leadership in medicine, management, and education.
  • Interactive seminars with team work, case analysis, and practical assignments.
  • Group discussions, idea exchange, and networking with like-minded individuals.

Speakers include co-founders of the Ukrainian Healthcare Center (UHC):

  • Pavlo Kovtonyuk, former Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine (2016–2019)
  • Matviy Khrenov, Advisor to the Minister of Health of Ukraine (2018–2021)
  • And other invited experts
