So, we are going to tell you about this format of work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In just a month and a half, we conducted 18 trainings for nurses and family doctors from the project&#8217;s pilot medical institutions in Rivne, Odesa, Chortkiv, Mukachevo, Lviv, Kyiv, and Kolomyia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The participants worked in a doctor-nurse team during the sessions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why? Because this format makes it possible to build trust and quality interaction within their teams and patient relationships. And a nice bonus, of course, is to improve your skills!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the training, our participants mastered clinical skills in recording and interpreting ECGs and otoscopy, learned the basics of examining children under one-year-old, and reviewed the essential tools for screening for mental illness. They also practiced communicating with grieving patients and developed skills in dealing with patients who disagree with the doctor&#8217;s or nurse&#8217;s opinion. And all under the mentorship of professional trainers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ihor Zastavnyi, family doctor, co-founder and board member of the Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine, co-owner and doctor of the Vulyk family outpatient clinic network.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anastasiia Khodan, family doctor, national MhGAP trainer, member of the Board of the Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine, and co-founder of the Vulyk family outpatient clinic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Natalia Tunik, family doctor, and director of the Novotroitsk Primary Healthcare Centre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ivan Kutchak, family doctor, member of the Board of the Academy of Family Medicine of Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liudmyla Rakovska, pediatrician, founder of the HELP kids+ medical centre, and associate professor of the Department of Paediatrics #2 at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anastasiia Spasibo, family doctor and founder of the Ridni Medical Centre.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, we also share the feedback from the participants:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Sincere gratitude not only from the nurses but also from the doctors of our institution for organizing such necessary, interesting, professional educational training. Our nurses feel more and more confident as they improve their knowledge by participating in modern professional training formats. This definitely inspires more and more respect for the role of a nurse among doctors, although there is still a lot of work to be done.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It was intense, very interesting, energetic, and most importantly informative!&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Thank you for the training! Continuous professional development = high-quality medical care!&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the future, we will share the feedback from patients from appointments with nurses with extended powers.
