As a result, we have a group of 25 bright and ambitious students!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">14 of them received full or partial scholarships to pay for their studies thanks to us and the program&#8217;s partners:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.razomforukraine.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CF &#8220;Together for Ukraine&#8221;<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/patients.org.ua\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CF &#8220;Patients of Ukraine&#8221;<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NGO &#8220;Agency for Legislative Initiatives&#8221;\/<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/usps.org.ua\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ukrainian School of Political Studies<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gmka.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Global Medical Knowledge Alliance<\/a>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and private patrons.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, the new students were congratulated by the President of NaUKMA, Serhiy Kvit, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Work of NaUKMA Svitlana Oksamytna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program teachers shared their expectations and work plans: Tetiana Chernysh, Ph.D., Head of the Project Office of the Ukrainian-Swiss Medical Education Development Project, Associate Professor, Lecturer at the Department of Sociology at NaUKMA and co-founders of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/uhcteam?__cft__[0]=AZUmHYUXIxlPpQgbBQ6UpMaFuoECelb4bfE6uAa0IY6bXPruzFQgYlTtoGwZ2_oYyrbUtpx4RJ188Fb6bMNHUwVI8bCItK-y2z1xogcAezZmf1cuxMaMNNc-UdOtUz4vBEoP36iM1MB_2Z4xAgaJxCgy&amp;__tn__=-]K-R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ukrainian Healthcare Centre (UHC)<\/a>, Pavlo Kovtoniuk, Natalia Ryabtseva and Matvii Khrenov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course&#8217;s first lecture, &#8220;Healthcare Systems and Governance,&#8221; was delivered by Pavlo Kovtoniuk and a guest lecturer, the first head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Oleh Petrenko. Arsen Zhumadilov, director of the Armed Forces Resource Support Agency, will also be a guest lecturer at the course.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, students will listen to the Fundamentals of Public Health Thinking with Yulia Vernyhor, a senior lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students&#8217; enthusiasm will be enough for two years of study! Just look at them. with specialists of different specialities, and only some are medical workers. We are of different ages and have different professional and personal experiences. The teaching staff is just cosmic. The program is exciting and varied, although the issues for discussion are sometimes unexpected.
