In April-May 2024, the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Medical Education Development” is organizing an intensive educational course\u202ffor the development of\u202fnurses’ competencies in Zhytomyr. Nurses from the project’s pilot institutions working in primary health care will\u202ftake part\u202fin the events.<\/p>\n

At the Intensive, the trainers present the concept of a nurse with an expanded role: goals, models,\u202fand\u202fstrategies for implementing the\u202fconcept, and digital tools used to conduct primary care appointments. Nurses will also have the opportunity to practice providing basic clinical skills relevant to primary care practice: ECG, otoscopy, dermatoscopy, and Basic Life Support.<\/p>\n
